Accessibility issues are keeping many Canadians from being able to get their COVID-19 vaccine and that’s why pop-up clinics have been a successful strategy in the country’s rollout campaign.
Twenty are being rollout out in parts of Toronto in an effort to increase uptake. To make them easily accessible, the clinics are being set up in and near buildings where residents live.
The city plans to study the results of the vaccine push, and roll out similar strategies in other neighbourhoods. Morganne Campbell reports.
