TCA CROSS is the chemical reconstruction of skin scars (CROSS) using trichloroacetic acid (TCA) with dr tino solomon

The treatment is a skin peel that is most effective for deep acne scars ('ice-pick scars') that do not respond well to
fractional laser treatments.

A small amount of a highly concentrated solution of
trichloroatic acid is carefully deposited onto the surface of
the scar of concern. This causes an inflammatory reaction
that promotes the formation of new collagen fires which
improves the appearance of the scarring.

This type of acne scarring treatment is usually reserved for
severed scarring (sunken, pitted or indented scars).
