In this depreciation and buying guide I will show you how the values changed during the last two years and how this compares the C8 stingray and the C8 Z06.

The corvette C7 market is of course diverse and prices vary a lot between the Stingray, Grand Sport, Z06, and ZR1. The market characteristics are quite special; model year and mileage sensitivity are low and prices overlap to a large extent. This if useful to know if you buying a used Corvette.
When it comes to the price development during the last two years, we can observe large differences. Especially ZR1 prices exploded as they are up by 30%. This is one of the largest increases I have seen on the channel. The market does then also look a lot like a collectable car market. Z06, Grand Sport, and Stingray prices increased with around 15% and this is in line with the used car price market trend.
Plotting the C8 Stingray and Z06 in the graph reveal that the C7 offers amazing value for money. As prices for the C8 are inflated, it’s now possible to buy two C7 Stingrays for the price of a C8 Stingray.
