I think most of us can agree that chipping is not an easy technique. It takes practice, experience and patience to make it look in scale and interesting.
Badly painted chips can destroy an entire scale model that you spent months building and painting, so one would think it’s best to just avoid chipping rather than try and learn the do’s and don'ts.
