Instructional guide how to install CLUTCH return spring on a 1947 CJ2A Willys Jeep (FITS 41-71 MB, GPW, CJ-2A, 3A, 3B, 5, M38, M38A1). The spring is connect the clutch pedal arm and to the frame. Only tool required for install is a pair of vise-grip pliers used to stretch the spring.

During the harsh winter months in Canada we decided to take the Willys apart, fix a few parts, and get it back on the road. Then repeat this the next winter. During the winter of 2021 we rebuilt the brakes and basic engine upgrades (spark plugs, water pump, distributor, ignition coil, etc.). THIS winter of 2022 we are tackling to replace the transmission and transfercase but finding lots of other problems deep within the engine.
