We ventured out on another training trip with the two board and trains, Charley and Moose! This dynamic duo showed off their recall skills in Downtown Orlando while they practiced everything they’ve been learning during their stay with me.

Despite all of the distractions, these kiddos were in total focus mode. Repeating these drills day in and day out has really helped shape some impressive impulse control and well mannered behavior!

With only a couple of days left in training, we’re going to really start testing these guys in high traffic areas. Why? The more practice, the more default the behavior becomes. Because I’ve controlled the behavioral outcome for almost two weeks now, making good choices a habit, the becomes the dog’s new default behavior rather than acting impulsively.
