Solo piece based on theories by Bertolt Brecht. Focusing primarily on the technique of alienation or also known as the 'v' effect. The year is 1860 during the Industrial Revolution, and a blacksmith is struggling with corporate greed, as his businesses is over thrown by the bigger companies, and watches as he is replaced by machines. The message of glorifying small businesses and the dangers of machines is essentially what this piece is about, reflecting Brecht’s social and political beliefs.
