On Sunday, June 2, 2019, at 11:18pm, the complainant, who is a cab driver, was parked outside of 250 South 17th Street, when he was approached by the suspects, who are described as two (2) African American males, approximately 5'10" to 6'0" in height, both are thin to medium build, and one male had short dreadlocks.
One of the males pulled out a black colored handgun, put it to the complainant's head and demanded money. The complainant was able to push the gun away from his head and continuously beep the horn of the vehicle. The suspects fled on foot, heading west on Locust Street towards 18th Street.
These same two (2) males are suspected of committing another robbery inside of Rittenhouse Square Park moments later, in which they approached the complainant, pulled out a black handgun, and demanded the complainant's white Apple iPhone X. The males then fled through the park towards Walnut Street. (Refer to DC# 19-09-022183 for this incident.)
Suspect Description: Two (2) African American males, approximately 5'10" to 6'0" in height, both are thin to medium build, and one male had short dreadlocks.
