Today I'm going to show you how to change the shooting dates of the photos that you might have taken with your camera, your iPhone, taken off the internet or scanned in with your scanner.
We are going to be using my A Better Finder Attributes utility for the Mac to do this.
A Better Finder Attributes 7 supports changing shooting dates for a variety of file formats, including almost all RAW photo formats, such as Sony's ARW, Canon's CR2 and CR3s, Nikon's NEF format and many others besides..
I spend some time explaining the difference between the various file dates and which ones are used by Photo Management Software like Apple Photos, and which ones belong to the file system and the Finder.
