With the Badrinath temple set to open on April 27, concerns are rising about new cracks appearing on a stretch of road along the Badrinath highway near Joshimath. Locals fear that the cracks could be the first indication of an impending mega quake, the likes of which hit Turkiye and Syria earlier this month.
