As stated by Hudson Electronics, the Broadcast dual footswitch is a: "transformer coupled, discrete Class-A germanium pre-amplifier based on the classic broadcast consoles of the 1960s". In other words, it is a preamp that gives a creamy and transparent tone to your guitar. The fantastic thing about Broadcast is its range. From a transparent boost to overdrive to fuzz, the Broadcast will always be flawless. The dual footswitch version allows you to have two gain stages under your foot. Not bad, right?
