In this tutorial, I teach you guys how to make a kick drum by utilizing 2 serum instances and processing. If we break down the synthesis of a Kick Drum, it comes down to 2 things; the transient, and the body of the kick.
The transient of a kick is created by utilizing a fastpitch envelope on wavetable of choice, from there process and layer with white noise or hats. The body of the kick will always contain the low-end information which will almost always be a sine or triangle wave. Bringing these two together and processing will result in the kick drum.
