The word desire can mean: to covet or crave. Oftentimes, these emotions can be birthed out of selfish motives.
Yet, it is a Godly attribute to desire the best Spiritual Gifts, so that we can be a blessing to others.
Operating in the Gifts of the Spirit does not happen automatically. These Gifts are a result of having an intense hunger and passion for the Lord.
As we experience God's Love, we see others through the Eyes of the Lord. As this happens, a desire is birthed within our hearts to allow God to flow through us.
