There are four stages of COVID-19 transmission: Stage 1- Imported cases only, Stage 2- Local transmission, Stage 3- Community transmission and Stage 4- Epidemic. To prevent the progression of the disease towards an epidemic, we need to break the chain of transmission and bring down the Ro to less than 1. The WHO and individual governments have laid down certain methods to halt the disease transmission process. In these times we need to stand together and follow regulatory protocols to curb COVID-19 progression.
