According to an Al Jazeera report, veteran Al Jazeera journalist Shireen Abu Akleh was shot dead while on assignment in the West Bank. It throws the spotlight on the safety of journalists. Al Jazeera says another Palestinian journalist, Ali al-Samoudi, was wounded in the back but is in a stable condition.
