Baby Carrots Don't Exist! At least not at the grocery store. In our gardens, baby carrots are one of the most sought after items every year, both spring and fall. So sweet we call them the "candy of the garden".
Why is it then that store bought baby carrots don't taste like that? At all. In fact, they are less sweet than the normal full-grown carrots on the shelf right beside them.
