In this quick guitar lesson we're going to be looking at something you can do over a must know jazz chord progression, the ii-V-I. These chords we're using are very reminiscent of Johnny Smith's guitar playing. We're focusing more on the extensions of the chords rather than Root, 3, 5, 7th. You can use them for chord melody soloing or as templates for building melodic lines off of.
