Denmark meet France in the 2018 FIFA World Cup group stage, however it's not the first time these two nations have met in the group stage of a major tournament. Back in EURO 2000, Jon Dahl Tomasson and Dider Deschamps were on the pitch, but in 2018 both are involved again, but this time watching from the dug out. On that day, reigning World Cup champions eased past Denmark thanks to strikes from Laurent Blanc, Thierry Henry and Sylvain Wiltord.
