The Giant clam (Tridacna gigas), so majestic, so beautiful. This clam is spawning, releasing sperm and eggs into the water.

Giants clams reproduce sexually and are hermaphrodites (producing both eggs and sperm). While self-fertilization is not possible, this characteristic allows these clams to reproduce with any other member of the species.
