Australian Defence Force Sport delivered a training program for sport officials in Papua New Guinea (PNG) between 24 and 28 July 2023. The program incorporated Australian rules football ( AFL), netball, rugby league, rugby union and basketball and included the instruction of level one coaching, umpiring, strength and conditioning, first aid and wellbeing as well as gifting of a range of equipment to local sporting groups. The program is part of the Australian Government ‘Team-Up’ program.
