In Assam's Kokrajhar district, a fragile three-month-long peace has been shattered by fresh ethnic violence. Earlier this year, at least 99 people were killed in ethnic clashes between Bodos and Muslims in these areas. The government stepped in, and made several assurances to bring peace, but were they just hollow promises?
