About 50 Niger Delta trainees, sponsored Federal Amnesty Program recently graduated as IMCA-DCBC Certified Commercial Divers / Underwater Welders, at highly acclaimed CDA Technical Institute of the West Indies, an off shoot of CDA Florida, USA.

The International Marine Contractors Association [IMCA] and Diver Certification Board of Canada [DCBC] Certifications are the most sort after qualifications for people looking to work as commercial divers in the marine, offshore, Oil and Gas and industry.
For those willing to take on the demands of commercial diving, the rewards are generous. Starting annual pay for a commercial diver is in the $150,000 to $200,000 a year.
