Here's how to eliminate a messy looking cable, as well as not use up your dashboard's 12V outlet by installing a separate concealed 12V outlet hidden away under the overhead lighting unit.
In addition to a dashcam you will need the following tools and things:

- flat and phillip cross head screwdrivers
- cable strippers
- twist type of cable connectors
- 12V outlet component
