BABC was defeated by The Rens 59-54 in a gritty matchup between two of the top EYBL programs in the Northeast. Behind strong performances from Hamidou Diallo (#12 in ESPN Top 100) and Jordan Tucker (#35 in ESPN Top 100), The Rens pulled off close victory to advance to 4-0 in Pool C.
The game featured four players from Vermont Academy's roster, including three from BABC (Bailey Patella, Corey Romich, and Marcus Santos-Silva) as well as one from The Rens (Jordan Nwora). Santos-Silva continued his tear through Peach Jam tallying a double-double with 12 PTS and 18 REB for the team from Boston, while Nwora notched 5 PTS and 5 REB for the Rens playing limited minutes.
