2021 was an exciting year for the Port Lands Flood Protection Project. We started excavation on Canoe Cove, observed the return of native fish species to the Inner Harbour, installed the Commissioners Street bridge, excavated a lot of soil, reinforced the future river banks, relocated a fire hall, and received the Cherry Street South bridge. All this work brings the project one year closer to completion in 2024!
