Rickie Fowler has faced criticism for not living up to all of the hype that surrounds him. Hot on the heels of being voted the most overrated player on the PGA tour by other players in 2015, he proved himself with a Players Championship playoff victory with a finish for the ages. He is one of only five players to finish in the top 5 in all four majors in one calendar year; the other four are Tiger, Jack, Jordan Speith, and Brooks Koepka. Rickie was named the PGA Tour Rookie of the Year in 2010 and now has 9 professional wins. He also has one of the smoothest putting strokes on tour; pure butter. He draws people into the game who wouldn't otherwise be watching it. Rickie is a great player with world-class ability, and the game will remember his name.
