Treasurer Jim Chalmers is ruling out a cost of living ‘free for all’ ahead of the next federal election.
Mr Chalmers is rejecting suggestions the government needs to increase spending to avoid a repeat of Queensland Labor’s election loss.
He says there will be cost of living relief rolled out before the next federal election.
