y garol blygain hon sy'n cloi'r wasanaeth. Mae'r traddodiad blygain yn parhau'n gryf mewn rhannau o'r canolbarth.
This song is an integral part of the Plygain tradition. The Plygain service is a carol singing service usually held in a church around Christmas time (but usually in January). It's an open door policy where anyone can go up and sing as long as it's a Plygain song i.e an unaccompanied Welsh language Christmas carol. after everyone has finished singing all the men (and only the men) go up and sing this song: the 'Supper Carol' before everyone congregates elsewhere to eat, drink and be merry.
