The Port of Mongla is a link sea port at Mongla, Khulna Division, Bangladesh. It is the second largest and second busiest seaport of Bangladesh. established in 1950s, this port plays major role in southern Bangladesh.
This time-lapse video from 602 Sentinel-1 imagery shows the incoming-outgoing vessels at the port indicating the economic activities at the port. Like our previous video on Chittagong port, there has been a boom of activities at Mongla after the covid-19 shock in 2020.
