Several years ago we made a short video called “35 THE MAGIC NUMBER” and it’s now time to improve on that and also to add a second magic number.
These numbers will help you to calculate Voltage Drop and Loop Impedance or Zs without the need to refer to tables and are quick and accurate.
There are always frequent questions on this, so it obviously matters to many of us.
Questions like … I’ve heard that 35 is a magic number, magic for what?
Or very recently … I’ve been told that the number 35 can be used to find Zs, how does that work?
Then we had … Can we have more detail about how the Zs numbers are actually worked out
And 44 is also a magic number that I, personally, use quite frequently.
The video will explain where the numbers come from, how we actually calculate Zs for example so that you better understand the short-cut. So you can appreciate why the magic numbers work as they do.
This is video number 217 and to view all our videos type in LearnElectrics all one word into the YouTube search bar.
