A Long Island library is facing years of restoration after catastrophic flooding. Recently released surveillance footage shows walls and ceilings collapsing and shelves full of books being swept along in up to 10 feet (3m) of floodwater. The August storm dumped nearly 11 inches (27cm) of rain on Suffolk County, New York where the Smithtown Library is located.
