X carve project
American Flag on Inventables xcarve cnc machine

-This American Flag was one of my first projects with the X-Carve by Inventables. I am very pleased with my purchase of the x-carve. It was a little bit of investment up front but with what this machine can accomplish it was definitely worth it. I am excited to continue learning how to use this machine.

-Run time was over an hour on this project. Mostly due to the 1/8 bit I used. A v-bit would of probably cut the run time in half.

-Material is old barn wood I had laying around. I mixed a combination of minwax stain and paint to give a more darker deeper blue and red color. I then Clear coated with Minwax water based polyurethane.

-overall I feel it turned out pretty good. Feel free to comment your thoughts and any tips.
