Charlie Kelly helped create the first mountain bikes, and the sport of mountain biking when he began the Repack downhill race in 1976. Last weekend he was at Spider Mountain to start the Team Trail Party Klunkerz downhill race. The fire road at Spider is steeper than you might expect, and with only coaster brakes, this was a white knuckle affair for those who dared.
