2021 marks the 20th anniversary of the adoption of Security Council resolution 1373 (2001) and the establishment of the Counter-Terrorism Committee. As part of the year of commemoration, CTED experts reflect on their work.

Ms. Svetlana Martynova, Senior Legal Officer at the Counter-Terrorism Committee Executive Directorate (CTED), serves as Coordinator on matters related to countering the financing of terrorism. Before her current role, Ms. Martynova served as Desk Officer for Eastern Europe, South Caucasus and Central Asia. Ms. Martynova has worked at CTED since 2012.
