A big thank you to Magic Spoon for sponsoring this video! One of the best kept secrets in Vegas is their celebratory buffets that are only offered on special occasions. And as luck would have it, Lunar New Year is just on of those occasions.

I had the chance to visit the celebratory Lunar New Year buffet events at Wing Lei over at the Wynn and Jasmine over at the Bellagio years past for their Chinese Dim Sum and Seafood brunch buffet and they were certainly over the top! Luxurious offerings from decadent dim sum, tender crispy peking duck, and succulent seafood from oysters to lobster.

This year, I'm excited to learn that Genting Palace over at Resorts World is offering a Lunar New Year brunch as well! If past experience is any indication of how good this will be, and I think they are, we'll certainly be in for a treat! As it turns out, it was even better than anticipated. Along with the peking duck, traditional lunar new year dishes, there were an abundant assortment of seafood from colossal sized shrimps, to fresh sweet lobsters, and even giant king crab so large that they do not fit on your plate. And as usual, while the food and phenomenal, it was be people there that made the experience exceptional. From the joy of the fellow diners to the hardworking, welcoming servers and hosts, it was an incredibly enjoyable brunch and what a way to start of the Lunar New Year!
