it was then added in 2009 in the sniper vs spy update
after first being teased in this sneak preview on april fools day
there's a jarate reskin called the self aware beauty mark
due to a bug the self aware beauty mark can be trown further than the jarate (pay to win confirmed)
The festive version spells Merry Smissmas mate
the jarate also appears numerous times in the comics
also the word piss in all it's varients is autocensored to jarate in the steam user forums
