Tonight we're making Kava Supreme by Kavafied This is one of our best sellers for the last 10 years. It's a Vanuatu noble kava, a great kava to end the day with. To start you'll simply need your kava, a kava strainer bag. This is our traditional kava strainer kavafied kava strainer bag. Water. We're using, we're going to make half a gallon tonight. A tanoa or a mixing bowl. This is the new kavafied tanoa we just launched. It's our take on a traditional kava bowl. It's, it holds a one and a half gallons so plenty for a small group or just a solo mix at night. And then also a bilo. So this is your coconut shell cup. Since we're making a half a gallon, I like to use a half a cup of kava for half a gallon. I kind of go one cup per gallon depending on the strength. This is very strong. If you're looking for a stronger mix, this is the ratio I like to use. I like to use half a cup of kava to half a gallon of water. So you're going to add it to your kava strainer bag. And then once you have the kava in your kava strainer bag, tie up your bag, add water, and let's get to mixing. I'm using half a gallon of water, lukewarm or room temperature. I personally like room temperature water. I feel like the warm water affects the taste, but to each their own. Next we're going to knead the kava. It's really easy to do, just think of it as hand washing clothes. If you had a dirty rag that you're rinsing in a bucket that was filled with dirt and grease. It's a good analogy for making kava. You're just trying to clean your strainer bag out and get everything into the bowl. So if you're unsure, if you did a good job with kneading, a good trick that I like to do is have one or two cups of clean water on the side. Squeeze out your strainer bag. Soak that bag of root in here. Squeeze into this. If this is dark from doing that squeeze, you still got a lot more to go. If it's pretty clear like this, then you did a good job kneading. And now we're ready to serve. So here is our Bilo coconut shell. Start off with two scoops. Get the buzz going. So again this is with our traditional Kava strainer bag. If you are sensitive to the Kava root fibers, I highly recommend getting our pro Kava strainer bag and running this through the pro Kava strainer bag. It'll make it a little easier on our stomach.
