Children in Leicester have been learning STEM skills as part of the National Space Centre’s After School Club.
The club, run by the Community Engagement Team, engages the local community in the Belgrave and Braunstone areas of Leicester, encouraging new audiences to get excited to learn about space. It also raises the aspirations of young people in Leicester to aspire to be the next generation of scientists and engineers.
This family celebration welcomed participants and family members to take part in an exclusive visit including a live science demonstration, planetarium show, certificate ceremony and an opportunity to share what the children had learnt at the after school club.
