For over 9 weeks in July, August and September of 2013, volunteers occupied the Jumbo Wild Citizens' Democracy Camp on the forestry road to Farnham Glacier. While the camp was in place work crews headed to the glacier valley turned back and did not do development on the theoretical ski resort envisioned for the valley.
