Derek Percy was a sadistic child-murderer between the years of 1966-1969. He is also the longest serving prison inmate in Victoria, serving 44 years behind bars. Starting his sentence at age 21 and passing away from lung cancer in police care at age 64 in 2013.
He is suspected of committing the following murders:
- The Murders of Christine Sharrock, 15, and Marianne Schmidt, 15 as known as the Wanda Beach Murders on 11th of January 1965 in Sydney
- The Disappearance of Jane aged 9, Arnna aged 7 and Grant aged 4 Beaumont, who are collectively known as the Beaumont Children on the 26th of January 1966 in South Australia
- The Murder of Allen Redstone aged 6 on the 28th September 1966 in Canberra
- The Murder of Simon Brook on 18 May 1968 in Sydney
- The Murder of Linda Stilwell on the 10th August 1968 in Melbourne
- The Murder of Yvonne Tuohy aged 12 and the attempted abduction of Shane Spiller in Melbourne
