This is by far the first epic day of the Everest Base Camp trek were I saw my first view of Mount Everest! From the Everest View Hotel we could see all the way through the valley and look straight at the summit of Everest while having some lunch at the Hotel.
Starting in Namche Bazar we took a walk a further 400 metres higher in altitude for acclimatisation to the thin air. The mountain views were incredible and the air was so clear that Everest could be seen in full detail.
I didn't like how crowded the hotel was, sadly it was packed and full of people scrambling to the back wall to take pictures.
Around the corner from the hotel, there is a really nice and quiet spot to sit and enjoy the view in solitude.
