What are Chaulai leaves-
Chaulai leaves are also known as Amaranth leaves, Chaulai is a green leafy vegetable that is easily available during summers or Monsoon. It's full of high Antioxidants and Minerals. It has Vitamin C but is high in Vitamin E, Iron, Magnesium, Folic acid, and lots of minerals. chaulai saag is a very delicious recipe and can be easily made at home.
Cholai aloo ki sabji/Saag-
Ingredients-
Cholai/Amaranth leaves- 300 gm, soft part washed and chopped roughly
Garlic- 2-3 pods, fine chopped
Onion- 1 medium-sized, roughly chopped
Green chili- 2-3, slice cut
Potato- 3 small sized, peeled and cut into 3 pieces
Dry red chili- 2 medium
Oil- 1 tbsp
Carom seeds- 1/2 tsp
Cumin seeds- 1/2 tsp
Turmeric powder- 1/2 tsp
Red chili powder- 1/2 tsp
Coriander powder- 1 tsp
Salt to taste
