Harish Shankar and Mickey J. Meyer grand entry at Valmiki Pre Release Event

Valmiki is an upcoming Indian Telugu-language action thriller film directed by Harish Shankar and produced by Ram Achanta and Gopichand Achanta on 14 Reels Plus banner. A remake of the 2014 Tamil film Jigarthanda, the film features Varun Tej, Atharvaa and Pooja Hegde in the lead roles.

Story:

An aspiring filmmaker seeks to make a film on a gangster as his first venture. In his research, he comes across a ruthless gangster Ganesh and manages to get close to him. However, things are not as simple as they seem and the filmmaker is caught in the chaos of finishing his film and seeing the other side of the gangster`s life. Will he be able to finish his film?

Release Date:

The film was scheduled to be released on 13 September 2019, however to avoid direct clash with Nani's Gang Leader it was postponed by a week, scheduling the release on 20 September.
