Mayur Hazarika, AIR-5 UPSC Civil Services Examination (CSE) 2022 has cleared the exam in his first attempt. This Toppers’ Talk can inspire all the aspirants who live in small towns and have big dreams! It can guide many of you toward perseverance and resilience.

Dr. Mayur Hazarika hails from a little town in Assam, a northeastern state of India. He secures AIR 5 in the UPSC Civil Services Examination (CSE) 2022 and aims for Indian Foreign Services. Mayur Hazarika completed his 12th grade from the Assam State Board. He had secured 10th rank in the 10th board final examination conducted by the Secondary Education Board of Assam in 2013. He pursued his MBBS at Guwahati Medical College, graduating in 2020. Hazarika said besides doing his medical practice, he had prepared for the UPSC examination. He gave up the practice after clearing the preliminary examination. He took Live-online coaching for the civil services examination. This was his first attempt at the civil service exams, and he now aspires to join the Indian Foreign Services.
