This video is an awareness video about the old age pension scheme in Pondicherry / Puducherry. The Government of Puducherry offers schemes like:
1) Old Age Persons and Destitute Pension.
Objective: To extend a helping hand by way of a monthly financial assistance to Old Age Persons/Widows/ Deserted Women/ Unmarried Women and Enuches so that they could defray some petty personal expenses without depending on others.

2) Grant of Financial Assistance for the Funeral Expenses of Old Age Pensioner.
Objective: To provide assistance on the death of the Old Age and Destitute Pensioner.

3) Financial Assistance to Old Age Pensioner Suffering from T.B./Cancer.
Objective: To extend a helping hand by way of a monthly financial assistance of ₹.500/- to Old Age/Destitute Pensioners who are suffering from T.B./Cancer to meet out the medical expenses.

4) HIV / AIDS PENSION.
Objective: To exend a helping hand by way of a monthly financial assistance to HIV/AIDS Affected People so that they could defray some petty personal/ medical expenses without depending on others.
