This is my FAVORITE cast-on for any kind of ribbing. It’s very stretchy and practically invisible. I use it for mittens, socks, hats, sweaters, and more. You do not have to guess how much yarn you’ll need, but start right away with just a short tail. It’s a bit fiddly at first, but SO worth the effort of learning it!
