Florida foreclosure attorney Steve Kramer talks about the 3 most common mistakes in foreclosure cases.
Handling any legal matter can be tricky. However, there 3 very common mistakes a lot of people make in their foreclosure case. The first is simply failing to respond to the lawsuit. By law, you have 20 days to do this. So by either ignoring it or not understanding your 20 day limit, many people lose their lawsuit by default this way. Another way is sometimes people file for a motion to dismiss rather than filing an answer. If you do this you could waive some rights you have if you file. Lastly, not filing a response to a summary judgment can also lose your case. Summary judgment is simply a trial on paper. No hearing, no jury -- just documents and a judge. If you fail to file this paperwork, you can lose. Watch the video now to learn more.
