One of my favorite style tweaks to do in the fall/winter is tying a half-knot with the belts on my coats and jackets. It’s such a simple change, but it packs a sophisticated style punch! Plus, it’s super simple to do...
1 | Pull the belt straps to one side and create a knot. One strap should be six inches longer.
2 | Grab the “longer” strap and wrap it around the shorter one, creating another knot, BUT...
3 | Instead of pulling the long side all the way through, make it a half loop. Adjust as necessary.
That’s it! It sounds much more complex than it actually is... and it looks much more elevated than a regular knot or bow.
