Dorothy Gordon is caught listening at keyholes not once but twice in this scene from the film Love in Pawn from 1953. Inside the room John Laurie, Laurence Naismith and Reg Dixon are trying to persuade Bernard Braden to go back to his wife after she pawned him to the family to get some money to impress his uncle (Naismith). When he refuses to play ball, the others then plot to kidnap him. Dorothy herself overhears all this while eating an ice cream, but is surprised first by Braden leaving the room (and getting a face of ice cream into the bargain). Then as she bends over to listen to the others plotting, she is spotted outside by Alan Robinson, who sneaks up and gives her bum a good smack as punishment before sending her on her way. However, he decides to have a listen outside, only to be caught by Reg Dixon when he goes to leave. By the way, for those wondering Dorothy Gordon is actually 29 in this film - and looks it!
