Carcassi Op.60 No.3

I get asked all the time, "how long does it take to learn to play classical guitar?" I always answer, "I'm still learning", which I am of course. I'd love to hear from you all in the comments below just how long it took to get a piece like this mastered from scratch. I'd guess 12-18 months, but it's 40 years since I started so I really can't remember!
I reckon this piece is one of the most beautiful of the beginner/early repertoire pieces, right up there with Sor's Bm study.
